Debian 13에서 gpu-unlock 호환성 보고

안녕하세요. 호환성 보고서를 어떻게 기여해야 할지 잘 모르겠지만, 제 설정과 결과는 다음과 같습니다:

호환성 보고서: Debian 13 + HP Z4 G4, RTX 3090 (Zotac)에서 정상 작동

결과: 잠금 해제됨 (pci 0000:21:00.0: gpu_unlock: unlocked), 드라이버가 정상적으로 로드됨, Xid/NVRM 오류 없음.

시스템

  • 워크스테이션: HP Z4 G4, Xeon W-2235, 96 GB DDR4 RDIMM
  • GPU: Zotac RTX 3090 (10DE:2204, subsystem 19DA:1613) at 0000:21:00.0, PCIe Gen3 x16, 단일 GPU, 헤드리스
  • OS: Debian 13 (trixie)
  • 커널: 7.2.9+deb13-amd64 (trixie-backports)
  • NVIDIA 드라이버: 615.71.10 (open kernel modules, DKMS), CUDA UMD 13.4
  • 커널 cmdline: quiet gpu_unlock.targets=0000:21:00.0 mitigations=off
  • Secure Boot 끔 (모듈 서명되지 않음, 예상대로 커널이 tainted 됨)
  • 전력: 350 W 제한, LACT 언더볼트 (+200 MHz 오프셋, 최대 1700 MHz)

설치

  • 홈 디렉터리의 clone에서 make install-deb: 깔끔하게 빌드 및 설치됨 (7.2.9용 DKMS 모듈, /usr/lib/firmware/gpu-unlock/610.43.03에 펌웨어).
  • GRUB에 gpu_unlock.targets=0000:21:00.0를 추가하고, update-grub, update-initramfs -u 실행.
  • 참고: .deb가 $HOME에 있어서 apt가 N: Download is performed unsandboxed as root ... couldn't be accessed by user '_apt'를 출력함. 무해함.

부팅 로그

ROM chain, BIT, ucode table 및 FWSEC descriptor/geometry/interface가 파싱되었고, FWSEC signature selection fuse_version=2 sig_bytes=384 다음에 gpu_unlock: unlocked가 표시됨.

참고: 이 잠금 해제는 새 커널의 첫 부팅에서, 전원 차단이 아닌 warm reboot(reboot) 상태에서 발생했습니다.

잠금 해제 후

  • nvidia-smi: P8, 유휴 시 17 W, 350 W 제한, 부팅 시 오류 없음, 이전과 동일
  • BF16 GEMM 8192 (PyTorch): 121.5 TFLOPS (stock reference ~64)
